Forgotten Email
If you have forgotten the email associated with your NBA ID, contact us by submitting a request or via Live Chat. The following information is needed to locate your account:
- Potential Email used to create NBA ID / Account
- Last 4 digits of Credit Card number
- Billing address
Reset Password
If you have forgotten the password for your NBA ID, visit Forgot Password to reset your password or follow the steps below.
Desktop
- Open the NBA.com homepage
- Hover over ‘Sign in’ (top right)
- Click ‘Sign in with NBA ID’
- Click ‘Forgot Password?’
- Enter the email address used to create your NBA ID
- Check your inbox for an email to begin the password reset process. If you do not see the email, please check your spam folder
- Click the reset password link in the email
- Enter a new password
Mobile
- Open the NBA App
- Tap the “My Account” icon (top right)
- Tap ‘Sign in or Join’
- Tap ‘Forgot Password?’
- Enter the email address used to create your NBA account
- Check your inbox for an email to begin the password reset process. If you do not see the email, please check your spam folder
- Click the reset password link in the email
- Enter a new password
Your NBA ID and WNBA ID uses the same password. If you reset your password for one account, it will automatically update for the other. Use your new password the next time you sign in on either platform.
