Spectrum SportsNet+, a 24/7 digital stream of Spectrum SportsNet is now available to Spectrum Internet + Mobile subscribers living in the Lakers local broadcast territory. Spectrum SportsNet+ includes over 75 live Lakers games during the 2024-25 season as well as pregame and postgame coverage and Emmy Award-winning original Lakers programming.

Who is eligible to stream Spectrum SportsNet+?

  • Spectrum subscribers who live inside the Lakers Home Television Territory with an active Internet + Mobile account
  • Video subscribers with Spectrum SportsNet in their channel lineup who live inside the Lakers home Television Territory. This includes via Spectrum, DIRECTV, U-Verse TV, DIRECTV STREAM, and Cox

I already have Spectrum SportsNet via Spectrum cable. Can I access Spectrum SportsNet+?

Yes. Spectrum video customers who receive SportsNet as part of their service will be able to access Spectrum SportsNet+ via authentication. Current Spectrum SportsNet subscribers can also live stream games on the Spectrum SportsNet App.

What games and other content are available on Spectrum SportsNet+?

Eligible customers will have access to 75+ local games live and on demand. Lakers games exclusively broadcasted by ABC or TNT will not be available on Spectrum SportsNet+. In addition to live games, Spectrum SportsNet+ includes comprehensive pregame and postgame coverage and award-winning original programming including “Backstage: Lakers”. On-Demand viewing of completed Lakers games, original programming, and special coverage of historical events such as statue ceremonies and jersey retirements will also be available.

Will I be able to watch postseason games?

Yes. Select first-round postseason games are broadcast on Spectrum SportsNet and available to watch for eligible customers via Spectrum SportsNet+.

What devices are compatible with Spectrum SportsNet+?

Spectrum SportsNet+ is available exclusively on NBA.com and the NBA App. Please see here for a list of supported devices for the NBA App. 

How Do I Stream Lakers Games in the Los Angeles area?

Eligible customers can stream Los Angeles Lakers games in the Los Angeles area via the NBA app with NO BLACKOUTS (subject to national exclusivities). This offer is only for qualified Spectrum Internet and Mobile subscribers, and Video subscribers of Spectrum SportsNet. This offer is only available in the Lakers Home Television Territory and is a separate service than the NBA League Pass out-of-market package.

If you live in the Lakers Home territory and don't have Spectrum Internet and Mobile or are a video subscriber of Spectrum SportsNet, you can purchase Spectrum SportsNet+ through the NBA here.

Can I watch Spectrum SportsNet+ while traveling?

Yes. Spectrum SportsNet+ is available to subscribers in the NBA app when they travel domestically within a 30-day period.

How Do I Stream Lakers Games outside of the Los Angeles area?

Streaming Lakers games outside of the Los Angeles area is restricted to NBA League Pass subscribers. If you live outside the Los Angeles territory and want to watch Lakers games, purchase League Pass here

Can NBA League Pass Subscribers Watch Lakers games in the Los Angeles area?

Only eligible customers with access to Spectrum SportsNet+ will be able to stream Lakers games in the NBA app from the Los Angeles area. NBA League Pass subscribers will not have access to in-market Lakers games.

How do I authenticate my Pay TV account to Spectrum SportsNet+?

Requirements:

  • You must have a Spectrum Internet and Mobile subscription, or a Video subscription with Spectrum SportsNet in your channel lineup.

Activation via the NBA app:

  1. Select the Account page on the top right corner
  2. Under My Account, select ‘Subscriptions’
  3. Select ‘Sign In to Restore Purchase’
  4. Select Select 'TV Provider'
  5. Log in using your Pay TV Provider credentials. If you are unsure of your Provider credentials, please contact your Pay TV Provider

Activation via NBA.com (desktop):

  1. To authenticate your Pay TV Provider, click here
  2. Log in using your Pay TV Provider credentials. If you are unsure of your Provider credentials, please contact your Pay TV Provider.

Activation Via Connected devices and Supported TV’s:

  1. Select the Account icon in the upper right of your home tab
  2. Select ‘Sign in with your TV Provider’
  3. Scan the QR code with your phone or go to nba.com/tve on a second device and enter the code displayed on your TV
  4. Log in using your Pay TV Provider credentials. If you are unsure of your Provider credentials, please contact your Pay TV Provider
  5. Your TV will automatically refresh after you’ve signed in successfully with your TV Provider.

How can I access Lakers games and the Spectrum SportsNet+ 24/7 direct stream?

  1. Sign in with your Pay TV Provider
  2. Select ‘Games’ tab
  3. Select the Lakers game
  4. Select ‘Watch Live’ to watch the game. If the game has already ended, you can select the Lakers feed from the streaming options

How do I select Lakers as my favorite team during onboarding in the NBA app?

In order to easily access Spectrum SportsNet+ and view Lakers games, news, highlights, schedule, ticketing, standings and roster, you will want to access their Team Page. You can also configure a "Favorite Team," which will create an additional tab for quick access to this information.

  1. Select the Account icon in the upper right of your home tab
  2. Select ‘Edit’ from My Teams
  3. Select your favorite team.
