When you pause your subscription, you'll continue to have access through the end of your current billing period. Once the pause begins, you won't be charged during the pause period, and your subscription will automatically resume when your selected pause period ends.
How Do I Pause My Subscription?
To pause your eligible monthly subscription:
- Sign in to your NBA Account on NBA.com.
- Navigate to My Account.
- Select Manage Subscription.
- Choose Pause Subscription.
- Select a pause duration between 1 and 4 months.
- Confirm your selection.
The pause will begin at the end of your current billing period, and you'll continue to have access until that date.
Who Can Pause Their Subscription?
Subscription pausing is available for monthly League Pass subscriptions purchased directly through NBA.com. The following subscriptions cannot be paused:
- Season-long subscriptions
- Subscriptions purchased through Apple, Google, Roku, or other in-app purchase providers
- Subscriptions purchased through third-party providers
What Happens When My Subscription Is Paused?
Once your pause begins:
- You won't be charged during the pause period
- You won't have access to League Pass content
- Your subscription will automatically resume when the selected pause period ends
Can I Resume My Subscription Early?
You can resume your subscription at any time from your NBA.com account. If you choose to end your pause early:
- Your subscription will resume immediately
- You'll be charged right away
- A new billing date will be established based on the date your subscription resumes
Pricing and Promotions
When your subscription resumes, you'll be charged at the current subscription price.
Please note that promotional offers and discounts do not pause with your subscription. Any promotional period will continue based on its original timeline even while your subscription is paused. For example, if you're receiving a discount for a limited promotional period, the promotion will expire based on its original end date, regardless of any subscription pause.
